IF's African workshop

 

Nairobi, Kenya - 27-29 October 2005

110 participants from 11 different countries, IF's latest workshop was a success, not only in numbers but also in content. The workshop was held in the Methodist Guesthouse, Nairobi, Kenya. 
Highlights of the workshop were the presentations of Connie Tinka (photo) on the UN convention and lobbying, Eric Ogwang on Disability rights in Africa, the real-life stories, and the opportunity to network informally. IF made sure that a lot of information was available to the parent groups, which was appreciated.

During the two days of the workshop, the following topics were covered:
